COHHIO Programs

Our program areas build our knowledge base, making us a unique statewide resource on homelessness and housing issues. Our HMIS program collects homeless data; training and technical assistance builds organizational capacity; SSI Ohio helps disabled, homeless Ohioans successfully navigate the daunting application procedure; tenant outreach helps resolve disputes between landlords and low-income tenants; Ohio Preservation Program collects data on affordable housing projects in need of rehab; youth empowerment builds leadership skills with homeless and at-risk youth; the Ohio Balance of State Continuum of Care manages homeless programs planning efforts in the 80 most rural counties of the state; and advocacy takes the voice of the underrepresented to the state legislature.
